Stefan Preuss heads the Emerging Technologies Audit department at Mobiliar and has been assessing the impact and risks of new IT technologies in companies for 25 years. He previously worked for PwC, Swisscom, and AWK, and has handled the impact of AI on organisations since 2019. Stefan is convinced of the possibilities and opportunities that AI offers but also calls for strong AI regulation to keep the consequential technology risks under control. He speaks nationally and internationally on the topic in professional organisations such as ISACA, IIA, DIIR and ExpertSuisse.

 

Keeping AI on Track – How to Deal With AI Risks & Challenges

In a world in which artificial intelligence is increasingly finding its way into business and private life since the release of chatGPT a year ago, Swiss companies are faced with the challenge of developing and using this technology responsibly. In the extended Pecha Kucha format (discussion structured based on slides), meaningful topic slides are displayed and discussed for five minutes each (time boxing).
The proposed conference contribution “Keep AI on track – how to deal with AI risks & challenges”; provides a platform for debate between a Swiss Post specialist in digital ethics and AI, and an expert in AI governance from Mobiliar. The aim is to develop a deeper understanding of the digital ethical dimensions and resulting opportunities. Also important to highlight are the risks of AI and evaluating practical approaches for their implementation in companies.
This talk will be co-presented with Sophia Ding.

Cloud Leadership Day will be on June 19, 2024, from 7am to 5.30pm CEST, followed by informal drinks and networking.
