Going Yellow: The Swiss Post Digital Journey to Data and AI Transformation

This session will explore the ongoing transformation journey of Swiss Post, with its focus on data and AI. We will discuss how Swiss Post has adapted its technology capabilities and digital enabling factors, to improve overall experiences for its customers. Besides use-case specific solutions we are now also driving major transformations, for example of Swiss Post’s letter and parcel processes, called “ZAO – Zielarchitektur Operations”. From a strategic, but end-to-end perspective, we will address key success factors and ongoing challenges how the yellow journey started with the embedded-IT idea and continues towards business processes to achieve greater efficiency with speed and agility. Finally, we will showcase some of the key accomplishments made by Swiss Post with usage of data and AI to transform logistic services.

About the Speaker Isabell Frank

Isabell is a member of the IT executive board at Swiss Post Ltd and leads the Architecture & Technology unit. She is driving forward topics such as group-wide cloud transformation and a major architecture transformation for Swiss Post’s future letter and parcel processing. Her roots are in mechanical engineering, with ten years of experience in the field of digitalization, particularly applied machine learning.
Isabell holds a PhD from the Technical University of Munich, and is founder of franck.AI in Munich, specialized in the development and application of AI solutions.

The program is selected by an independent board of customer representatives and delivered by cloud practitioners and experts. Content is selected to provide maximum benefit to participants through relevant topics, innovative insights, and clear, actionable takeaways. 

When will the 2024 program be released?

Our board members are currently reviewing speaker submissions to decide which talks to bring to the Cloud Leadership Day stage.

The first round of speakers will be announced at the end of February, so stay tuned!

When and where does Cloud Leadership Day take place?

Cloud Leadership Day will be on June 19, 2024, from 7am to 5.30pm CEST, followed by informal drinks and networking.
